Fading Roses

A series of photographs of roses which were starting to wilt and fade.  Normally flowers are photographed in full bloom, vibrant and full of life. I wanted to show how beauty remains even as life fades.  Shot in daylight with Tungsten balanced slide film which was processed as negative film.  The wrong film for the wrong light and processed the wrong way, all or which combined to accentuate the delicate beauty of the flowers. You can see more of my work at  www.charlesbinns.com  or on  Instagram .
