Japanese Nights.

Part of a series of multiple exposures of abstract night time street scenes in Tokyo and Kyoto.  The images were shot by taking multiple exposures with a holga camera.  The inspiration for these images came from the fact that memory is stored as a series of still images.  When we recall the past we layer memories of places and events on top of each other to create an abstract, surreal image of the past.
